As part of our ongoing series of webcasts on IFRS, we are hosting a webcast on Wednesday, July 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET), to address the current discussion papers / preliminary views of the FASB and IASB on revenue and leasing. Archives for our earlier webcasts can be found here or on www.pwc.com/usifrs/webcasts. The FASB and IASB have issued Discussion Papers for Revenue Recognition and Leasing. The Revenue Recognition Discussion Paper was open for public comment until June 19, 2009. The Leasing Discussion Paper is open for public comment until July 17, 2009. These are two key components of the milestones laid out in the SEC's proposed IFRS roadmap. Due to the influence of IFRS, these changes go beyond the scope of traditional GAAP changes. As such, it is important for companies to be aware of proposed changes, anticipate the impact and plan accordingly.
Register today. To register for this event, please click on the "Register" button or link above. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a link and access instructions for joining the webcast.
