PwC invites you to attend the 2013 Key considerations for board and audit committee members seminar, specifically designed for directors of large companies.

As in prior years, PwC’s top firm, SEC, financial reporting and policy leaders will address the issues top of mind for boards and audit committees, including risk oversight, the regulatory and legislative environment and financial reporting developments. This year's agenda includes a facilitated discussion on board leadership in today’s environment - as lead directors, committee chairs and individual board members.

PwC Leaders will be joined by John White, Partner with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and former Director of the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC. John, together with Russell Golden, FASB Chairman (New York program), Marc Siegel, FASB member (Palm Beach program),Hal Schroeder, FASB member (Scottsdale program),will discuss the current regulatory environment and key priorities of the SEC, FASB and PCAOB. Jim Nevels, Chairman of The Hershey Company (New York program), Bob Guido, Director of Bally Technologies and Commercial Metals Company (Palm Beach program), Kerrii Anderson, Director of Chiquita Brands International, Inc., Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings, Worthington Industries, Inc. and former CEO of Wendy’s International, Inc. (Scottsdale program), and Mary Pat McCarthy, Director of the Mutual of Omaha and Tesoro Corporation (Scottsdale program), will be discussing board effectiveness.

The seminar will kick-off with Vin Colman leading a peer exchange session that will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss the key issues, opportunities and challenges they are facing. On the following day, the seminar will continue with a full day of thought provoking, educational sessions and opportunities to network with peers.
